Sound System is an all original American Reggae/Surf band from Denton Texas.
With hundreds of Record, TV, Film, Radio and Web credits Chris Lang has been a fixture in the DFW live music scene for 10 years, running Emerald Sound Recorders.
Sound System is currently recording their debut album “Remember the Stars” that will be released in summer 2026.
Playing in venues like Water’s Tavern in Lake Dallas Texas, Sound System has been wowing audiences with their blend of original Reggae songs and 1960’s style original Instrumental Surf Music.

Sound System was founded in 2020 by Guitarist, composer Chris Lang.
